April Commissions OPEN...
...and that's no joke. (I'll be here all week) Another short and sweet post this month. To repeat from last month (and will be this way for the foreseeable future) My math skills may not be up to snuff (they really never were, not to put too fine a point on it) But I know enough to know that if I intend on saving any money to, eventually, afford to move into a place all my own while still paying bills and buying food for myself and the Korpulent Kitties (AKA Fat Cats) my monthly income needs to be about $200 over/above what my SSI currently pays me. To that end.... Ladies and gents (and, yes, I just assumed your gender, and likely always will)... The Adventurous April Commissions are OPEN!
By now y'all know that I REALLY hate begging y'all for work, but, again, I'm in need of help. I need, the aforementioned, $200 to cover:
$60 Phone bill
$40 Cat food/litter $100 for food (cuz $61 won't make it)
And, trust me, every cent is REALLY needed.
I know it's tight out there, but, if any of you great folks out there has a bit of this-n-that that would look so much better this than that, PLEASE give me shout.
If I haven't said this enough you folks (and you know who you are) are THE BEST!

UPDATE: 2/9/24 STILL sitting at just under the 1/2 way mark. Purchased the kitty supplies, with a little left over to go to the credit card when I get the rest, which needs to be today. Still need to pack my coffers for the food budget as well, so, if any of y'all have B&W art screaming to be colored, please NOTE me! Worst News: St. Betty won't let me pay only $150 this month like she did last month. Seems she needs the money to fix a couple of things in her house. Not Bad News, just annoying: I, again, ran into some "issues" last month that caused me to resort to using the Dreaded Plastic Devil (the credit card to the rest of the world) to buy food to last the rest of the month So, after having the thrice-dammed thing paid off last month, I need to pay it off....yet again. Happy New Year All!
I hope y'all had a great Christmas/Yule/Whathaveyou, and a awesome (and safe) New Years Day. My Christmas was spent putzing around The Cathouse and, later eating my sister's dry ham and tasteless green bean....stuff. Like last year, the morning was the roughest with no Sasquatch to trade silly gifts with. And, as usual, my New Year was uneventful. What was not usual was, this is the first one I spent alone, just the fat kitties and myself. I toasted it with a shot of Romulan Ale (a-la Sasquatch), and watched Anime Abandon on YouTube. Such excitement.... I ran into some "issues" last month that caused me to resort to using the Dreaded Plastic Devil (the credit card to the rest of the world) to buy cat litter (the Fresh Step I bought was beyond useless) ad enough canned goods to get me through the rest of the month. So, after having the thrice-dammed thing paid off for the trip, I need to pay it off....again. To that end... The Jovial January Commissions are OPEN!
I REALLY hate begging y'all for work, but, again, I'm in need of help. I need $275 to cover landlady bill and credit card so I can still buy food, and cat litter.
$125 credit card (due the 9th)
$150 St. Betty (due ASAP) (she was nice enough to let me pay $150/month until I qualify for EBT)

Half way to goal. Utilities are covered, but still need to cover the installation fee for the water heater. I'd like to get it done ASAP to ease "Saint" Betty's mind. (the Landlord BTW). She's a nice old lady, and I hate to be the cause of any undo stress. So, again, if any of y'all have some pit of art that's been nice (or naughty in a nice way) and has been begging Santa for the gift of Living Color, NOTE me and we'll see if we can make it happen. Cheers!! original post____________________________ It's late, and I'm beat, so I'll make this short. First the dessert. Trip went off without a hitch, except for a delay in Dallas. Cats survived just fin and are, currently enjoying their new domicile. The bungalow, currently called the Cathouse (because...cats) is smaller than I thought, but workable. Now for the vegetables. There was almost no furniture in the place, so I had to spend, over the last two months, a goodly portion of my SSI to buy a futon, a desk, hot plate, etc. leaving me barely enough to cover bills and buy food for myself and my two fuzzballs. Recently my tiny 2.5 gal water heater died and had to be replaced, In order to facilitate this, I'm told I have to, on top of my share of electric and water, etc. pay the service fee to install the new one. Then my landlady did some more number crunching and decided this month I have to pay her $150 for the utilities, and next month it goes up to $200. This is not an outrageous sum, but there is a problem. This month, if I pay the utilities and service fee, in addition to my regular bills, I'll have very little left for food for the month. And, since I'm not yet on food stamps, this is a pretty big deal. So, to that end. The Delirious December Commissions are OPEN!
